If anyone owns a business in Palm Beach county you have to deal with the fine outstanding employees that are in the various codes departments within Palm Beach county.
I hear stories all the time from various business owners, the thing I find most shocking, alright it doesn’t shock me any more, is that two different codes inspectors can come in and give you two totally different inspections. The codes inspectors don’t even know what the codes are because of the bureaucracy involved.

A business owner told me he was required to have some work done at his business to bring it up to codes. The work was completed and the re-inspection was taking place. The codes inspector was looking down at the blue-prints, looking back up at the work and kept repeating that something was wrong and it didn’t make sense. Finally the business owner walked over and asked what the problem was. The business owner looked down at the blue prints, turned the blue prints right side up so the code inspector could completed his inspection.
